a) Board Pittsburg/Bay point train. From Downtown Berkeley to San Francisco International Airport 1. a) Purchase a $ 5.15 BART ticket. AirBART Shuttle to Oakland Airport Use your BART ticket for the AirBART Shuttle Purchase a $2.00 BART ticket or use your current ticket if
a minimum of $2.00 is remaining. When departing from the airport,
purchase a $2.00 AirBART ticket from the AirBART ticket machines
located at terminal exits. Exact change is required.
a) Purchase a $2 ticket from the Air-BART vending machines
inside the airport terminal. From Downtown Berkeley to Oakland Airport a) Purchase a $1.75 ticket from the BART station.
Amtrak Directions Onboard Amtrak's Capitol Corridor, ticket-carrying passengers ask the conductor aboard the train for an Amtrak Capitol Corridor Transit Transfer. The conductor will give the passenger a two-part transfer valid through the following day. This may be used to ride AC Transit buses to the Hotel Durant. From the Berkeley station, take the 51. From the Oakland station, take the 72/73 line and transfer to the 51 line. There will be conference volunteers riding on the bus with the delegates from the Amtrack station to the hotel.
Driving Directions
Take highway 580 West towards San Francisco. Continue onto 80 East towards Sacramento. Exit on University Avenue. Take University up to Shattuck Avenue and take a right on Shattuck, then a left on Durant Ave. Drive up Durant 6 blocks. The Durant Hotel is located on the right hand side, on the corner of Bowditch and Durant.
From Walnut Creek/ Highway 24: Take highway 24 West to Tunnel Road. Take Tunnel Road until it becomes Ashby Avenue. Continue down Ashby to College Avenue. Turn right on College, and proceed down College to Channing Way. Take a left on Channing. Go one block to Bowditch Avenue and turn right. The hotel parking lot is located mid-block on your right, between Channing and Durant.
From Sacramento: Take highway 80 West toward San Francisco. Exit on University Avenue. Take University up to Shattuck Avenue and take a right on Shattuck, then a left on Durant Ave. Drive up Durant 6 blocks. The Durant Hotel is located on the righthand side, on the corner of Bowditch and Durant.
From San Jose: Take highway 880 North. As you approach downtown Oakland, follow the signs to highway 80 East, towards Sacramento. Exit on University Avenue. Take University up to Shattuck Avenue and take a right on Shattuck, then a left on Durant Ave. Drive up Durant 6 blocks. The Hotel Durant is located on the right hand side, on the corner of Bowditch and Durant.
From Northbound Highway 101 (San Francisco/Daly City) Follow 101 North and then switch to 80 East, San Francisco/Oakland Bay Bridge. After the Bay Bridge,Exit to I-80 East (Berkeley/ Sacramento). Exit on University Avenue. Continue East on University Avenue for approximately 1.5 miles to Oxford Street.
From Westbound Highway 13 Highway 13 becomes Tunnel Road. Continue on Tunnel Road. Tunnel Road becomes Ashby Avenue near the Claremont Hotel. Turn right at Shattuck Avenue. Turn right at University Avenue and continue east one block to Oxford Street.
From I-80 East or West Exit University Avenue. Continue east on University Avenue for approximately 1.5 miles to Oxford Street. From Westbound I-580.
Exit I-80 East (to Berkeley, Sacramento). Exit at University Avenue. Continue east on University Avenue for approximately 1.5 miles to Oxford Street
From North I-880 (San Jose; Hayward; Oakland Airport). Stay in left center lanes. Exit 80 East (to Berkeley). Exit at University Avenue. Continue East on University Avenue for approximately 2 miles to Oxford Street
